THE COMPANY
Who We Are.
We are one of the Sri Lanka's finest KNIT FABRIC manufacturers. The company also has vertical operations from knitting ,dyeing and finishing of knit fabric to cater the local and international markets. We have a growing presence in the domestic market catering to a variety of different clients. This includes direct local government tenders where the contracts are to supply knit fabric to stitch uniforms for the Srilankan Armed forces and other government institutes or to do any service which is part of the manufacturing process.
We supply fabric to well recognised local brands and for corporate companies promotional T-shirts. We also supply special fabric for sportswear and undergarments.
Brief History
The business was founded in 1978 by Mr A Maduraiveeran who is also the Managing Director and Chairman. Initially we started our showroom Sharp Centre Ltd in Pettah then in 1980 we established Oacianic Knitters Pvt Ltd.
The company is based in a one and half acre area in Ratmalana & Moratuwa , which is closely located to Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka.
The senior management team have over 35 years experience in the textile industry and networks globally to put customer service and efficiency in production as the core values for the entire company.

ISO Certificate
We are extremely proud to state we recently achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification. This ensures that we meet environmental management in a systematically manner. We hope for a much brighter future for OKL with these improved standards.
OKL has improved production efficiency by implementing machinery with latest technology in Knitting ; Dyeing ;Processing; Compacting & Finishing processes. Hence we are proud to state that we achieved customer satisfaction with prompt delivery time. Our goals are to further enhance this quality & quantity.
We achieved a capacity in knitting of 4-5 tons a day and dyeing of 10-11 tons a day and focussing to increase production.
What We Offer Services
Woven Fabric
Woven fabric only stretches diagonally on the bias directions (between the warp and weft directions), unless the threads used are elastic.
Towelling Fabric
Towelling is a fabric with loops that can absorb large amounts of water. It can be manufactured by weaving or knitting.
Mosquito Net Fabrics
A mosquito net offers protection against mosquitos, flies, and other insects, and thus against the diseases they may carry.
